Andrea graduated from Seattle Massage School in 1998 and went directly into clinical practice, focusing on auto injury recovery. After gaining this insight into the recovery process, she was exploring modalities to decrease length of recovery and address the anxiety that often accompanies accidents. This search led to her specialty for the past nine years, Craniosacral therapy. This modality releases restrictions in the central nervous system, the connective tissue, and cranial structures as well as calming the CNS. In Laguna Hills, California, Andrea worked closely with a chiropractic functional neurologist as a massage therapist and Craniosacral specialist.
She moved to Portland in 2014 and joined East Bridge Massage, quickly becoming an integral part of the practice. Andrea has brought her compassion and talent to the wellness center, enhancing our philosophy of excellent patient care and follow-up.
As a youth, Andrea pursued ballet and various other dance forms, introducing her to an early fluency in body mechanics. She is an avid traveler, her favorite voyages having been to Cambodia and Peru. When not doing massage therapy, she enjoys adventuring with her husband and their Australian Shepherd/Labrador mix.
